Who is a "non-current RHCE "?

  • RHCE candidates are only current for a period of three years from the date when the RHCE status is earned. Non Current RHCEs are as on follows.
  • RHCE (RHEL6) ,as on 1st December 2015 are non-current if the RHCE status has been earned on or before 30th Novemeber 2012
  • All RHCE candidates certified on prior to RHEL5 are non-current as on date on 10th August 2014

How do I Update RHCE that I earned on RHEL 5 or RHEL 4?

RHCE on RHCEL 5 becomes non current as on date on 10th August 2014. You can update your certification by passing two exams, RHCSA(EX200) & RHCE(EX300) on RHEL 7.
 

How do I become current RHCE ?

You can directly upgrade to RHEL 7 by passing two exams, RHCSA(EX 200) & RHCE(EX300) on RHEL 7.
 

How do I update RHCE on RHEL 6, which is about to become non-current

You can choose to pass any certificate of Expertise (RHCA track credential) exams: (EX 318/413/210/236/248/436/401/442) or pass EX 300 on RHEL 7..
 

How do I update my existing non current RHCE on RHCEL6 ?

 

You can update your certification by passing two exams, RHCSA(EX200) & RHCE(EX300) on RHEL 7.
 

Are there any special offer for upgrade to RHEL 7?

Those who want to upgrade to RHEL 7, need to write two exams:
 
 
RHCSA & RHCE  at a special Exam Fee of INR 6,250/- plus Service Tax, as applicable, for each exam. . For EX 200 & EX 300  exam total cost is  just Rs.12,500/- + Tax .Also this special offer will expire on 27th February 2016
